☕ How to Prepare
Usucha (Light Tea)
Whisk or shake 1 teaspoon (≈2 g) of hōjicha powder with 60 ml hot water at 70–75°C until fully mixed.
Hōjicha Latte
Whisk or shake 2 teaspoons (≈4 g) of hōjicha powder with 60 ml hot water at 70–75°C until smooth.
Add to 240 ml hot milk and sweeten to taste.
For a café-style experience, froth the milk before combining.
Iced Version: Use cold milk, then pour over ice after mixing the powder with hot water.
